Instead of ending as a transaction, it took root in the community.
School bags first. Then scholarships, every year.
400 volunteers later it's a community.
The kids. The reason. Everything else just funds the capability.
It isn't a side project.
It's the point.
It did not begin as a plan to build a charity. The first step was hiring one developer through Upwork.
Years later, the Sokal Foundation represents the actual work. It isn't a vanity project. It's the most important structure I've helped build. Everything else just funds the capability.
